Justin Gatlin to Race 100 Meters at Ostrava Golden Spike After Missing Prefontaine ClassicBy Adam Kopet Justin Gatlin will race the 100 meters at the Ostrava Golden Spike, an IAAF World Challenge meeting in the Czech Republic, according to trackalerts.com. Gatlin withdrew from the 100 at the Prefontaine Classic only days before the event, citing precautions around a slight hamstring injury. A week earlier, Gatlin won the 100 at the Osaka Golden Grand Prix in 10.06. Also scheduled to compete June 13 in the 100 are: Reece Prescod and Adam Gemili of Great Britain, Akani Simbine of South Africa, Christophe Lemaitre of France, Ben Meite of Ivory Coast and Gavin Smellie of Canada.
